Brian Greenway's Blues Bus
Sylvie Desgroseillers (Tribute to Aretha Franklin)
Brian Greenway formed the “Blues Bus” Band for the pure joy of reviving - and performing – the greatest forgotten songs from the classic era of vinyl recording. From the British Invasion to Classic American Blues and the worldwide Rock & Roll phenomenon they spawned, the “Blues Bus” is a celebration of heartfelt great music, exciting and pure.
Brian’s guitar wing-man is former “April Wine” bandmate Gary Moffet, consummate player, producer, and wonderful live performer; harp player/vocalist Craig Miller adds a strong foothold to the Chicago sound’s vital influence. Mark Higdon on drums and Lloyd Dallaire on bass comprise the Bus’s versatile rhythm undercarriage, with driving dynamic rhythms that carry all the way down to a whisper.
The Blues Bus experience is all at once thrilling, nostalgic, humorous and unforgettable. The band’s attention to detail delivers rich vocal harmonies and soaring instrumental showcases, while connecting to crowds at the sincerest level. These seasoned career-musicians are dedicated to the highest professionalism, and their joy onstage could power a town!
